'For the Love of Money' is a satirical exploration of society's complex relationship with wealth, success, and desire. Each piece transforms a genuine dollar bill into a miniature stage where nostalgia and critique collide. Familiar cartoon icons, once symbols of innocence and entertainment, become players in a wider commentary on modern greed, ambition, and the cost of chasing value.
Through sharp humour, layered symbolism, and meticulous hand-painted detail, Jonny Fyvie reimagines currency as both subject and surface, the very material of worth turned into a canvas of reflection. Every brushstroke questions what we truly value, what we sacrifice to obtain it, and how money shapes our culture, our identity, and our dreams.
Each design is a limited edition of five pieces, individually hand-finished and signed on the reverse, unique relics of the endless pursuit for more.
